2011 was a crazy year for trainers. ¬†What started out with retro Jordan’s sitting on the shelves for months turned into hundreds of chino wearing, Beats by Dre donning snap backed youths queuing quietly outside shops across the country.

The rise of ‘sneakerheads’ and ‘streetwear’ has been on a steady rise over the last couple of years with things due to get even bigger.

This list is not a reflection of the biggest hypes of 2011, it’s a list of, collectively, our favourite pieces of footwear which made an impact on us.

As with everything we do at Everypeoples we’ve put our own creative spin on things. ¬†Inspired by the cardboard crates in which our favourite trainers are stored we present our Top Twelve Trainers of 2011 in cube form.

We hope you enjoy them as much as we did making them.
