1. Asics x Ronnie Fieg Salmon Toe Gel Lyte III

Taking the number one spot in the Everypeoples Top 12 of 2011, a shoe which needs no introduction whatsoever, is the Asics Get Lyte III ‘Salmon Toe’. The colourway was provided courtesy of 2011’s best footwear designer, the genius that is Ronnie Fieg, and had sneaker fans drooling from the moment the first images appeared online.

Releasing at Ronnie Fieg’s KITH store in Flatbush, Brooklyn the ‘Salmon Toe’ flew off the shelves with the first 40 pairs presented in an engraved wooden box thanks to Good Wood NYC. The special collector’s edition box also included a KITH x Asics commemorative tee and wooden dog tags. Limited to 372 pairs worldwide and featuring one of the simplest yet most memorable colourways in sneaker history, the ‘Salmon Toe’ is Everypeoples choice for the number one trainer of 2011.
