Helas Caps is the brainchild of French pro skater Lucas Puig which launched earlier this year. A few select skateshops across the UK have began receiving their first deliveries of Helas Caps’ debut collection featuring the three models you see below.
Specialising solely in peaked caps, Helas use a mix of tried-and-tested colours and subtle detailing on their headwear for those looking to avoid heavily branded items. As well as this, both the LP87 and the Capone cap feature a very original new fastening mechanism I personally haven’t seen before. The plastic, sliding adjustable band offers a nice alternative to the standard, fabric pull grip found on most 5-panel caps. The LP87 comes in a blue denim whilst the Capone is finished in black corduroy.
Similarly, the Sunday cap although a 5-panel features a snap adjuster more usually found on a Campus 6 panel. This like the other styles features minimal branding with just the umbrella logo on the side and is available in burgundy and orange canvas.
The LP87, Capone and Sunday caps are all available now at Urban Industry priced at £30.
