The duck boot has made a vibrant comeback over the past year and certainly for Gourmet has resulted it one of their most popular models, the Quadici, becoming a huge success with streetwear fans. The model you see here, entitled The 21, offers a high-top version of the duck boot and clearly demonstrates the Gourmet ethos of combining classic models with a contemporary twist.
In the case of The 21, the modern twist comes from the visible air unit built into the sole, inspired by similar techniques used in running footwear. Materials used for The 21 include a waxed leather upper, a pigskin lining and a vulcanised rubber toe box.
