FUCT Spring/Summer ’12 Lookbook – ‘The Gift of Being Naive’

Presenting their lookbook for the Spring/Summer season, American streetwear label FUCT travel to Yesler Terrace, one of Washington’s first low-income housing projects.

Modelled by kids and young people from the Seattle neighborhood and photographed by Adam Rossiter, the lookbook encompasses a gritty yet authentic feel which runs closely with the FUCT brand aesthetic.

Entitled ‘The Gift of Being Naive‘ all of the pieces you see here, including the Erik Brunetti t-shirt capsule, are available now from the FUCT webstore.

‘The Deluxe Influence of Bedwin’ – Film by Jake Davis for K-Swiss

As part of their exploration into Japanese culture, K-Swiss commissioned cult film-maker Jake Davis to make a short film centred around Tokyo-based creative agency DLX Co., Ltd.

For those that don’t know, DLX not only own two of Japan’s leading menswear labels; Deluxe Clothing and Bedwin & the Heartbreakers, but also the premium retail space ‘Bridge’ and a design studio known as  ‘ANX STUDIO’, both in Tokyo.

DLX employee Jay Perie gives us the lowdown on the inspirations that drive Japanese manufacturing and design and the direction/identity behind both the brands they represent.

DQM Spring/Summer ’12 Lookbook

Destroying Everything by Ricky Adam

Destroying Everything …Seems Like The Only Way is the new book from photographer Ricky Adam.

Adam is widely regarded through the action sports world having worked with every BMX brand known to man as well as a variety of other brands and publications.  His work has focused on BMX through his work mainly with Dig BMX magazine but this new book also shows Ricky’s keen interest in music.  The title of the book suggests that the two go hand-in-hand against the system and obstacles they both look to destroy whilst carving their own art.

Wood Wood 10 Year Anniversary – Artist T-Shirt Collection


To celebrate their 10 year anniversary, Danish label Wood Wood have asked ten of their closest friends to each design a collaborative tee in commemoration of the event.

The first half of the collection which you see here includes work from the likes of Mischa Hollenbach of PAM, independent artist Eric Elms, photography collective Je Suis une Bande de Jeunes, Swedish design agency Museum Studio and graffiti artist FUZI UV TPK.

Watch out for the first five tees releasing early May at Wood Wood.

10DEEP Spring ’12 Preview

New York label 10DEEP have been somewhat quite over the last year or so but they are back with a short video giving us a first look into their up-coming Spring ’12 collection. The first thing we noticed was the possible over-use of camo prints in the collection but stay tuned for the full lookbook coming soon.

Everypeoples meets Eric Elms & Dimitri Coste

When we were out in Berlin last month we were fortunate enough to spend some time at “The House of Vans” partying, hanging out and also chatting with two of the OTW advocates, Eric Elms and Dimitri Coste, two of the most laid back, down-to-earth guys you might ever meet.  We got along well with them due to their unhealthy obsessions with trainers and art.
